Welcome to Pioneer International University(PIU) E-Learning Portal and thank you for your interest to study with us. At PIU, we endeavor to be a world-class market-driven institution that offers a mosaic of knowledge and skills to our students that stretch their minds to the possibilities and opportunities around them by creating ethical, responsible, and competitive global citizens.

Our University carries with her a heritage of  resilience, adaptation and innovation. Never before has this triple heritage been challenged than this time when the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted our traditional ways of teaching/learning and interaction. In this regard, and living to our true character, technology has provided us with a safety valve of creating normalcy through our premier E-Leaning platform. In what has been christened as the “New Normal”, online teaching and learning is the future!. Indeed, anyone who is left behind will be sleeping through a major technological and social transformation. It is your time! it is our time! to heed to this call of History.

Allow me to note that the University remains a fountain of hope for all of us particularly our students, faculty and staff. Indeed, a  greater and brighter future beckons despite the uncertainty that seems to cloud the current moments. As indicated, technology presents us with a great opportunity to re-define and re-imagine our world in an effort to reconstruct the arc of destiny. During  such moments, our imagination can only be amplified! We shall OVERCOME!

About E-learning at PIU.

PIU has moved online! We are using Microsoft Teams to offer online lectures via chat and video conference. See the links below to the Teams for your courses and the schedule for when Lecturers will be available on these channels.

Where do I find the E-Learning Timetable?

How do I get assistance for any queries on E-Learning?

Students can ask for support from the IT Department by creating a support ticket.

      1. Select Support at the top menu bar.
      2. Type in your query and submit.

How do I register for a Course?

Students are required to register for the semester and for corresponding units.

      1. Select Register from the top menu bar.
      2. Select your program of study.
      3. New students registration form (BCOM),(BSIT), (BAIR), (BED-A).
      4. Continuing students registrations (BCOM),(BSIT),(BAIR) (BEDA).

How do I access Library resources?

Students can access a large collection of online library resources  provided by the Library Department including online journals here.

How do I access my discounted data bundles?

The University has negotiated subsidized data bundles with Safaricom. Access the details here.
